Diane
Fehrenbacher, owner of Heart Keepsakes, founded the company in 1982
after losing several friends and family members. Intent on safeguarding
their memory, she formulated a unique chemical compound to preserve
funeral roses and transform their petals into beads. Her formula
not only made the beads durable, it also maintained each flower’s
original color and scent.

She began making necklaces,
bracelets and rosaries for loved ones, and soon her product line
grew to include earrings, key chains and lapel pins, as well as
several home décor items. Recently, she developed a process
to create 3-dimensional, rose-shaped accents from pressed petals.
Heart Keepsakes now offers several products featuring this option.

Diane’s team now includes five skilled craftspeople who work
diligently to ensure each Heart Keepsake is as special as the memory
it represents. Their reputation for quality and beauty has spread
throughout the country and across the globe, with orders now arriving
from the United States, South America, Canada and Europe on a regular
basis. |
